All items sold on this site have different sales conditions according to their nature or classification.
There are 3 main cases :
- Total freedom :
Are concerned: Antiquities in general, everyday objects and weapons classified as "antique firearms" (8th category), that is to say the firearms that have been patented before the 1st january of 1870 and their replicas. Learn more (web site in french) . - Declaration to the prefecture :
For weapons of 5th and 7th categories. For these guns the buyer must have a hunting permit valid for the current season, or a valid shooting license with certificate of medical examination. As required by the regulations, we made all the official paperwork. - Authorization :
For weapons of the 1st and 4th categories. For these guns the buyer must have an authorization. This authorization is available only for members of an official shooting club affiliated to the FFT (Fédération Française de Tir). Learn more (web site in french)
Particularity of edged weapons :
- Edged weapons (6th category) are : Bayonets, daggers, knives, batons, cane swords, crossbows, japanese stars, knuckles, slingshot. Purchase and ownership are free, carrying is forbidden without legitimate reasons. Sabers, swords and polearms are not considered as edged weapons according to the french law.
